Get to Know the Friendly Team at SB Dental Laboratories

In 1981, Christoph accepted an apprenticeship in Dorsten, Germany, at the young age of eighteen. He graduated in 1985 from Dental Technician School in Haltern, Germany.

Together with his wife Elisabeth , they decided to relocate to Canada and made their way to Newfoundland and New Brunswick in 1989. In 1990 they moved to Penticton. Christoph was accepted into the Master’s Program in Germany shortly after.

Christoph and Elisabeth have a daughter named Josephine Schmitz-Burchartz, who graduated in 2018 from the University of British Columbia. In 2020 Josephine graduated from the denturist program with honors and opened her own denture clinic, called SB Denture Clinic. Josephine and Christoph work closely together, marrying their expertise in the dental field and helping each other provide exceptional customer service.
